The Burden of Government and Command

The Fate of the Cost Concordia Captain:

As it is on ship, so too as it is with government and society as a whole.

The government (captain) doesn’t do his/her job, nothing works.

And, even when it is someone/something else that causes the harm in the first place, it is still the captain who ultimately pays the price for either negligence, dereliction or, worse, malevolence.

That’s the way that society seems to have functioned, using a very rough sketch of it.

And, woe be it to those in government who don’t abide by these principles and natural laws of society, humanity and the economy.

Think about it.
