Government Efficiency and Efficacy
I just got 3 letters from the government today.
Each of them were evaluations for courses I took online for FEMA last year.
And I’m sure I’m not the only one receiving repeat mail, printed on repeat trees for things that probably could have been done through the Internet.
I can probably find dozens of more ways for the government to cut spending.
But what I DON’T appreciate is when they try to cut from the disadvantaged, the sick, the poor, the middle class, goods and services that we need to function as a complex society, because some assholes on “top” wants to keep a pile of money that they’re never going to use in the first place.
What am I supposed to do with this knowledge and know how?
How can I help them (the members of governments everywhere) help themselves by being of better and more effective and cost efficient service to the people they’re supposed to be looking after?
It is a question of helping themselves, as much as them helping others.
And it’s a crying shame that they don’t get or look at these things from that perspective.
Think about it.
