Of Dirt and Light
Every second counts in policy making, even if there are centuries of time in between the cause and effect. What we each and all do now shapes the condition of the world for ourselves, our descendants, and possibly ourselves as well, if reincarnation turns out to be an accurate way of describing what happens after we die. The universe is vast, and we are so very small. Yet we are an expression of this vastness; are able to express it, however accurately or inaccurately, thanks to the variable condition of our individual and collective brains. We are the universe, in all of its glory and misery, its riches and its poverty, its highs and its lows. We are dirt. We are light. And it all merges into one giant mish-mash of a universe/species that is us.
Think about it.
